Real story · Jaguar XJ

His father's Jaguar,
piece by piece.

This Jaguar XJ belonged to its owner's father. He wants to bring it back to its best state — not all at once, but in stages, at his own pace. We started with the interior: steering wheel, gear knob and a full clean.

Some cars arrive at our studio for what they are, and others for what they represent. This Jaguar XJ is the second kind: it belonged to the current owner's father, and now he's the one bringing it back to its best condition — not all at once, but in stages, at his own pace.

Restoring in stages, not all at once

Not every project starts with the paint. This owner chose to start from the inside: the parts you touch and see every time you get in. It's a practical approach, and a sentimental one too — recovering first what connects to the memories of driving it.

The first stage: the interior

We started with a full interior clean and restoring the steering wheel and gear knob — the two pieces that show the most wear over the years of use. The result is already noticeable when you sit inside, even before touching the bodywork.

This is just the first step of a project its owner wants to carry out in stages. We'll share the rest of this Jaguar's phases as they happen.
